ABOUT THE ARTIST
Traci Moss first captured the beauty of art in nature with photography when she was in her late 30s. However, she has an extensive background in art as she graduated with a BFA from the University of Georgia in Interior Design. Traci’s eye opening moment was nailing the word “forgive” on a tree and taking a photo. This epiphany led her to understand that her photos deeply affect people, hence the beginning of Moss Thoughts. As Traci evolved abundantly with photography, film and digital, she continued to explore other ways to express her deep thoughts. She then dove head first into Mosaics, creating beautiful one of kind tables. Her latest endeavor exemplifies a fusion of her mosaics and photography producing thought provoking watercolor paintings. Most importantly, she thanks God for her special gift and emerging inspiration.
Traci resides in Augusta, Georgia with her husband Preston, and their two dogs. Together they have two children, Carlee and John Patten. Traci also has a passion for equestrian; her therapy is spending time with her two horses. Traci hopes her art inspires the good in people and spreads happiness.
